Renaissance Festival

Last Saturday Stephen and I went to the Renaissance Festival in Maryland!!!! Of course we wore our costumes which made it all the more fun!!!!

~All ready~

~Chainmaille Art~

We sat down to watch a very abridged version of Romeo and Juliet. The story teller sought out willing observer to join in acting out the play and Stephen was chosen to play Tybalt.

~Sort of Robinhoodish~

~A feathered face....perfect for a masquerade~

~Happiness~
~Bliss~

~Stephen found an awesome piece of armor to complete his costume~
He looks quite dashing indeed!!!!!!

~Glass etching~

~Renaissance Rock ~
I know you must be wondering what that sounded like.......let's just say it was "interesting"

~My Most Handsome, Charming Prince~

~A sword pen (had to take a picture of course)~

During our tour of the festival grounds we stopped by the dancing, German juggler (or something like that). He was very interesting and seeing him put a bowling ball on top of a plunger was something else!!!!!

However, when he asked to take a picture with a camera from an innocent bystander we knew it was going to be "interesting"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not sure whether to call this talented or crazy!!!???

~Music was in the air~

What can I say? *Awesome possum* will suffice I believe!!!!! :) :) :) :)

The beautiful sunset on our way to visit with some friends. I forgot to take any pictures with aforesaid friends but there will be plenty more times in future!!!!

  1. That looks so neat! Must have beens lots of fun.
LOVE your mask! Did you buy it? :)
That picture of Stephen under the archway was really neat. If you could just photoshop out the other people, it would have looked like he was in a movie or something!
I really like the costume that the harpsicord player wore. The feather just made the outfit!
    The sky is gorgeous!
    Love,

  2. I'm interested in the Renaissance Rock and the Mylde Drinks. Renaissance Rock makes me think of some cool music from the 70's & 80's!

    Love, Dad
