Several weeks ago I made a skirt and learned how to do a french seam!!!! I was following directions from a sewing book and thought I would post pictures!!!!!

Sew seam with wrong sides together

Trim seam
Fold fabric wrong side out and sew the seam again

I love the finished look!!!! So easy!

During the winter months this is how we would often spend our Saturday afternoons! Sitting in the fireplace room reading, doing computer work, sewing, talking and snuggling!!!!

Pumpkin Scones.....Way too yummy!!!!!

White placemats were $0.95 a piece! We paid a little more for the brown twig placemats but they were still a good deal!

If you have ever wondered what we do with all of the medieval weaponry lying around our house................................they open boxes!!!!

My darling on our bike trip to Harpers Ferry

Inside the pottery store we sneak a smoochin' picture :)

We love Harpers Ferry!!!!!!
Brick, stone, greenery, peace, calm, quiet.......Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

~My Prince Charming~

He looks like he is laughing at me.....and trying to hide it!!! ;)

One night we had to make a quick grocery run and found this clever warning of the oncoming pothole (it is an orange cone sitting inside a grocery cart). :)

~The delicious dainties~

Coconut Tea

~A splendid cup of tea~

I made this lasagna several weeks ago and it was really good! Instead of lasagna noodles I used pita bread that I had on hand!

We have begun the fun process of painting our bedroom Tuscan red!
While cutting in the trim we found moments to write love notes on the wall!!!!!

Out of all of the blossoms in our yard this was the one and only tulip to be found!

I love our forsythia bushes!

Diet coke.......a refreshing treat from my ever-so-thoughtful husband!!!!
