Rhode Island, Boston, Burlington and the White Mountains.....

During the merry month of May, Stephen and I traveled the east coast up to the places mentioned in the title! We had a blast during our 13 day trip!!!!

So I start with a picture of Boston. Which was our second stop, and for some reason this is in the wrong spot but I am too lazy to move it!

Once we arrived in Rhode Island we stopped at a charming local restaurant called Chello's!
Talk about good food!!!!!!

~Uncle Vinny was our host for the weekend and drove us around the Island and gave us a charming tour~

Beautiful!

Uncle Vinny was a great tour guide and a wonderful host!

Now onto Boston...........

Here we are smoochin' on the Boston-T on our way to downtown!!! It was a day full of adventures, sightseeing, talking, walking and oh yeah......smoochin'!!!!!!!! :) :) :)

We had a grand time walking the Freedom Trail!
One of our more memorable adventures during our time in Boston was the fact that there was a water sanitation issue in the whole city. When there are signs in the bathroom saying "wash hands at your own risk" you begin to panic.............Anyway.......all of the restaurants and coffee shops were not serving any coffee (gasp!), tea, or anything that came out of a faucet.
The Izze's provided much needed refreshment!!

Stephen and I had a blast in this charming store! We love browsing old bookstores together (even when there is a cat casually browsing with us.....and yeah you know how much we like cats.)!!!!!

These look ssssooooo appetizing......
NOT!

~Awesome Architecture~

So happy and SO in love!!!!!!!

Just an FYI, Stephen despises pigeons.
It was totally amusing to see my Dashing husband chasing these creatures all around the Boston Commons.

After Boston we spent several days in Burlington where Stephen was attending training.

Wonderfully Delicious!

While traveling up to New Hampshire we stopped at Hammond Castle. We arrived 10 min. late to take the tour, but we were able to tour the grounds and hang outside!

~My Noble, Kind, Gentle, Valiant Knight~

~A mere peasant girl who has been swept off her feet by the adorable Knight previously mentioned~

love the texture of this door

It was a beautiful misty, damp day! Perfect weather to spend walking around a castle!

~My Beloved~

And....now you are wondering what about pictures of the White Mountains?! Sad to say, just as we were taking our last pictures at the Castle my camera broke. Oh well!!!

Thankfully, we had a spare at home so posts shall continue!

  1. I so enjoy reading your blog. It's lovely to have an idea of what you two have been up to. :)

Dad doesn't care for pigeons either - he calls them flying rats...

Did you know that you can highlight a picture with your mouse and choosing to either press the right button on one's mouse and selecting "cut" or hitting "Ctrl" and "x," one may cut the picture. You then scroll to where you want to be and by either pressing the right button on the mouse and choosing the "paste" option or by pressing "Ctrl" and "v" you can place the picture wherever you so wish in your post?

Love the castle pictures. The door does have lovely texture. I am particularly taken by that wooden door tucked away...

    :)
