~~Mumzie, Sarah and Dad eating pie~~

I do not know why my sistuh was rollin' her eyes at me......at least she still had a smile on her face! :)

Not much has changed since I have left the house......

Sarah and her camera

Mumzie at the coffee shop

Sarah at the coffee shop

Meghan called while we were at the coffee shop (in case you forgot where we were) and let us listen to the baby's heartbeat!!!!!! It was SO PRECIOUS!!!!!!!!!!

Giving instructions
Ahhhhh.......what bliss!

My Sistuh leavin' her mark on our camera!!!!

Our next stop on the map was Illinois where we went to all of the favorite restaurants, shops and family homesteads that I grew up visiting!

The dessert crepe from Landmark Cafe and Creperie

Mirror art at the Calico Cat

This is exactly what Sarah looked like (and did) when she was 8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

~This is how to eat a sweet potato~
(the white cream sauce was frothed butter and cream)

To the eye this is just an ordinary iced coffee......but in reality it is a Cocoachino!!!!!!! Mexican cocoa, chocolate, cinnamon, and oodles of other spices make this an out-of-this-world treat!!!!!!

Raspberry Italian Soda

Love this place! 3 stories of fun, old, unique things!
I guess that is what an antique store usually is.......

I really was excited to find this jewel of a book at the antique mall.......!!!! ;)

~We stayed at the Seacord Bed and Breakfast~
The house my Great Grandparents lived in for 56 years! My Grandfather grew up in this home and I spent many years coming here for visits!

The driveway is exactly the same as I remember it.....the only thing missing is Great Grandma Win to welcome us!

Out in the country to go visit the Walnut Grove Farm where my Great Grandmother spent her summers spending time with her cousins and helping at the farm

The Barn

ewwww.....gross...................i know......why did i post this picture?
I guess I like randomness....

Lovers in the Grove

I actually climbed all the way up to the tip top window.....to find about 5 raccoons so I decided to not stay up there long enough to take a picture!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :)

  1. I loved seeing the pictures from Galesburg! What sweet memories....

That picture of the little girl who "looked like me" was pretty accurate except for the powdered white face and black hair :D

    Glad to see you posted!
    Love,
