Day 3 started off with Stephen and I walking together to his conference and then I had to say goodbye and find some breakfast! (Stephen's conference provided breakfast for him)
I ended up finding a bistro one block from our hotel that was so warm and inviting! It was old world decor and very peaceful!!!!
~My oh so delicious french toast with homemade cream (sweetened with honey) and strawberries~
I think this breakfast was one of the first times I have ever in my life eaten at a sit down restaurant by myself! It gave me a whole new insight into those who have lost their spouses and do this all the time. I can certainly say that while the food was delicious, it was one of the most boring, lonely experiences and it caused me to thank the Lord for the husband He has given me!

Thankfully, Stephen was able to join me for lunch at the Burger Bar. It was decent food, but way too expensive. Nobody should ever have to pay $20 for a burger and fries!
In the afternoon I stopped by Britex fabric store and spent hours looking over their amazing fabric and notion selection! It was so fun to look at hand crafted lace and Italian silk!!! I just wish they would have allowed photography in the store! Oh well!
Out of the whole store, just about the only affordable item in my budget was 2 yds. of cotton! It is super soft and top notch quality!
I am not sure what I am going to do with the material yet.....but I have a few ideas floating around!
Is the Mocha Art supposed to look like a mug?
ReplyDeleteI think so.....it was hard to tell! :)
